Configurator
Let your customers see and choose
what they want.
A very visual way for someone to define a product or a service: they see what they choose, understand the options and tell you exactly what they need. It works for selling, for quoting or simply for asking “I want something like this”.
What it's for
Selling
Each option can carry its price, and whoever chooses sees what they'll pay. If you want, they can pay right then.
Quoting
The customer configures what they want and you receive the complete configuration, with a calculated quote.
Collecting a request
To define a product, a service or a commission and send it in. For example, a kitchen renovation with its features.
Made so choosing is easy and appealing
Very visual
Photos, colours and descriptions so each option is understood at a glance and looks attractive.
You understand what you choose
Whoever configures sees the result as they choose and can review their selection at any time.
On mobile too
It adapts to every screen so choosing from a phone is as comfortable as from a computer.
Help if they want it
An optional voice advisor explains the options, asks questions and recommends, for people who'd rather be helped to decide.
Options your way
Each option can carry its photo, description, price and a more detailed explanation. If something sells out, you mark it and it can no longer be chosen.
Your brand
With your image, your colour and your words: so it feels like yours from start to finish.
When the Configurator sells too
If you add prices, the Configurator does the sums for you: the customer sees the total while choosing, and you receive the amount with each response.
Adds and subtracts
Each chosen option adds or subtracts its amount.
Per unit
Multiplies a price by a number the person answers: metres, people, units.
Percentages
Applies a percentage surcharge or discount on what has accumulated up to that point.
Only what applies counts
Whatever a condition leaves hidden adds nothing.
It's saved
The total is saved with each response, shows in the table and the CSV, adds up in the analysis and can travel to your site on completion.
Your words
Change the total's title, add “From” or “/month, + VAT” and some small print.
Shipping cost by destination
If you sell physical products, the address can add shipping to the total.
Base shipping and free from
A base amount, and a threshold above which shipping is free.
Rates by destination
A different price for mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla (told apart by postal code), for the rest of the European Union, the rest of the world, or specific countries you pick.
Destinations you don't ship to
Mark a destination as “We don't ship here”: an address there is not accepted and the person gets a notice.
How it's added
Shipping goes at the end of the total: a percentage discount does not reduce it. Until there is an address, the total says shipping is still to be added.
Charge the total, shipping included
Card payment in the same form
The Payment field can charge the Configurator's total. The money goes straight to the seller's Stripe account; Form·it does not receive or handle it. Available on paid plans.
Address with suggestions
The buyer types the street, picks a suggestion and the postal code, city, region and country fill in by themselves. Everything can be corrected.
A voice advisor that explains, recommends and ticks the options
Whoever prefers talking to choosing option by option presses “Talk to the advisor”. The screen stays there: what the advisor ticks shows as selected, and what the person ticks is relayed to the advisor.
Two paths
Recommendation: asks a few questions about how it will be used and proposes a complete configuration, with the reason for each decision. Step by step: goes through the options in order and explains them.
Only ticks what the person chooses
Naming an option in a question doesn't count as choosing it. The proposal isn't applied until the person accepts it out loud.
Doesn't invent prices
The form calculates the amounts and the advisor repeats them. It doesn't negotiate or offer discounts, and doesn't offer sold-out options.
Knows your catalogue
The options, their descriptions, each field's help text and a guide you write: what to recommend and to whom, the tone, a delivery time.
Closes with a recap
At the end it reviews what was chosen and asks for confirmation. Then it says the contact details, and payment if any, remain, which are always done on screen.
Your way
Optional for each Configurator. Available on paid plans, with voice minutes you buy as you need them.
Frequently asked questions
Is a Configurator only for selling?
No. You can use it to sell, to quote or, without prices, for someone to define what they need and send it to you.
How is it different from a normal form?
It's much more visual and made for choosing between options. Both use the same editor and the same responses panel.
Can I charge the total from the Configurator itself?
Yes, with a Payment field set to a calculated amount, which charges what the total shows, shipping included. You need to connect your Stripe account and a paid plan.
How is shipping to the Canary or Balearic Islands calculated?
By the postal code of the address. You can set a different price for each area, or mark it as a destination you don't ship to.
Where do I publish the Configurator?
You share it with a link or a QR code, or embed it in your site. If it's embedded and has a payment field, it opens in a new tab.
